Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
A comprehensive evaluation is the starting point for new patients. The assessment considers current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, development, sleep, relationships, family context, school or work, previous treatment, strengths, and individual goals.
For children and adolescents, evaluation may also include information from parents or caregivers and, when appropriate and with appropriate authorization, collaboration with schools, therapists, pediatricians, or other professionals.
