About the physician
Yueling Li, MD, PhD
Board Certified in Psychiatry
Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Care across development and adulthood
Dr. Yueling Li is board certified in both Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, bringing a developmental perspective to care across different stages of life.
Her approach begins with careful listening and understanding each person as a whole — including their concerns, strengths, development, physical health, relationships, family environment, school or work, life experiences, and individual goals.
A Personal Philosophy of Care
I believe every person has inner strengths and a unique beauty in their life. During difficult periods, those strengths can sometimes be hard to recognize. I value taking the time to understand each person beyond their symptoms or diagnosis and working together to uncover their strengths, understand their challenges, and find a meaningful path forward.
My approach emphasizes careful evaluation, open communication, and collaborative decision-making. Treatment is individualized and may include medication when appropriate, psychotherapy recommendations or referrals, behavioral and lifestyle strategies, family guidance, and coordination with other professionals.
